🛍️ Shopping District Rules

🏰 The Shopping District made by Medieval Buildings and it’s centred in the map (check Map for reference)

🏪 To Claim a spot and get authorization for a Shop. A ticket must be submitted and approved on discord

🏢 Buildings must have a Medieval style and be no more than 25 blocks tall. Prominent buildings require approval from the Lords.

🏗️ Upon claiming a spot in the Shopping District, a player must begin constructing their shop within 1 week. Empty plots, especially those with villagers, are not permitted.

📦 All stores within the Shopping District must be adequately maintained and stocked. Should a shop remain inactive for a period of 1 month, the server administration reserves the right to either auction off, resell, or reassign the shop to another player.

🛠️ Farms are not allowed in the Shopping District.

🚫 Stacking Raid Farms are NOT Allowed

🧑‍🌾 Monitor villagers, avoid overcrowding

👨‍👨‍👦 Do NOT steal all of the villagers from a village. Breed a pair at the village, and use that pair to breed as many as you need.

🏷️ To preserve the server economy, villager curing is limited to 3 cures for a maximum of 30% discount.

🏜️ Large quantities of sand may only be obtained from the server’s sand quarry (Nether Portal Coordinates -900 -285)

🌾 Harvest Sustainably when possible. (Replant saplings, etc)

💣 TNT World Eaters, Tunnel Bores, and TNT Duping for Diamond and Netherite mining are not allowed!

🔥 Standard Nether Rules

🗺️ Nether Roof Travel: Travelling along the nether roof is permitted and suggested. Portals located here must have a sign with its owner`s name and/or destination.

🚫 Farming & Exploring ONLY: The standard nether is for building player farms, exploring, and looting structures.

⚒️ No Mining or Large-Scale Destruction: Please refrain from mining or causing large-scale destruction in this Nether

❌ No Regular Resets: This nether will not experience standard yearly resets. Chunks will only be regenerated following standard overworld chunk regen rules

🌋 Quarry Nether Rules

⛏️ Resource Gathering: Use the Nether Quarry for mining and gathering resources.

📅 Annual Resets: The Nether Quarry will reset approximately every 6 months.

🏭 No Builds Saved: Builds, farms, or bases in the Nether Quarry will not be saved during resets

📟 New Seed with Each Reset: A new Nether seed will be used with each reset to avoid exploits

🚪 No Nether Portals: Creating Nether Portals in the Nether Quarry is strictly forbidden

🏃 Inactivity Warning

📨 Players who are inactive for an extended period of time will be contacted via discord. If there is no response. The server admins reserve the right to; Auction Off, Resell, Reassign, or Wipe a players Bases / Shops / Farms / Builds as they see fit.

✈️ Players who foresee being away from the game for an extended period are encouraged to contact the Lords or Knights through a Discord ticket. If you communicate with us we can halt the inactivity process.

❌ Players who are no longer present within Discord will NOT be given a grace period, Server administrators will immediately begin inactivity proceedings

Peasant

Citizen

Citizens are players who have spent several days exploring the great expanses of Terra Nova. These players have spent the time and made themselves a decent foothold within our community.  These players gain the ability to use NPCs as Shopkeepers

Ancient

Ancients are players who have spent an extended period of time and shown  loyalty to our kingdom. They are now able to use /hat

Nobility Roles

These Roles are Invite Only. They have Shown exceptional dedication and loyalty to our community. However these are NOT staff positions.

Noble

Exceptional members who have contributed significantly to the server’s growth. They are trusted to give items lore.

Council of Elders

Advisory board, could be composed of long-standing Ancients, Nobles, or retired staff who offer advice on server governance but don’t have active responsibilities

Staff Roles

Players who have shown dedication to the server in helping other players and in play time, May apply to become one of our exalted staff members. Staff must abide by all of the same rules as all of the other players, and are held to higher standards against our rules. Staff roles do not follow a standard hierarchy and a player may move straight to a role better suited to them instead of being required to climb a chain of hierarchy. 

Squire

Junior mods or helpers who assist new players and higher-ranking staff.

Craftsman

In charge of designing and implementing special projects, builds, or server elements.

Knight

Moderators responsible for upholding the server’s rules and maintaining order.

Upon your arrival in Terra Nova, your first destination should be the Welcome Centre, conveniently located to the right of where you spawn. This center is not just a building; it’s a treasure trove for newcomers. Here, you’ll find essential items to kickstart your journey in Terra Nova – armor, tools, iron, food, a guide, and some construction blocks. Our community, known for its warmth and helpfulness, is always ready to assist new players in settling in.

🏔️Finding a Place for Your Base

  • Utilizing the Live Map: When searching for the perfect spot to call home in Terra Nova, make sure to use the Live Map. This dynamic tool offers a real-time overview of the entire server, allowing you to scout for ideal locations from a bird’s-eye view. Check Areas for more info on the server claimed areas.
  • General Seperation Guidelines: Please make sure your base is atleast 1k blocks from the Shopping District. Look out for other players bases, Try to keep a respectful distance unless you have gotten permission. (Remember you are not allowed to build underneath or over another base without permission!)

Transportation

  • Nether Roof Access: Right behind the spawn area, you have access to the nether roof, a key transportation method in Terra Nova, as we don’t use teleportation commands.

Where Can I Build?

  • Free Choice with Respect: You can build almost anywhere, except in areas marked under Areas. Respect these spaces and feel free to choose your spot elsewhere.

Building Style

  • Creative Freedom with Some Exceptions: While Terra Nova doesn’t enforce any specific building style, certain areas like the Shopping District require adherence to a Medieval style. Remember, Terra Nova encourages creative expression in your builds.

Claiming Your Space

  • Community Coordination: Since there’s no block protection, to avoid overlaps in building plans, use the #coordinates channel on Discord to share a map and coordinates of your intended area. Claim natural structures like temples and villages, unless already claimed.

Sacred Access Source Types:

Group

/bolt group (create|delete|add|remove|list) <group> [players...]

Purpose: Manage custom player groups, which can be used in access lists (ACLs).

Trust

/bolt trust [list|confirm|add|remove] [player] [admin/normal]

Purpose: Prompt, list, or confirm changes to your trust access list. Players on your trust access list have access to all your protections.

[admin]: Players granted with ‘Admin’ trust type can destroy containers/blocks that you have protected.
[normal]: Players with this type of Trust will only be able to access, but not break containers/blocks protected by you.

Transfer

/bolt transfer <player>

Purpose: Transfer a protection that you own to another player.

Password

 /bolt password <password>

Purpose: Enter a password for a protection that has a password source added.

  1. Grab a Bow and arrows from the White/Purple tent
  2. Press the Reset button in the NE corner of the courtyard. Wait until the scoreboard shows 00
  3. Press the Start button located in the center of the courtyard
  4. Take Aim! After the button is pressed music will start to play. Target blocks will begin moving across the far wall.
  5. and FIRE! The goal of this minigame is to hit as many of the targets as you can before the music stops!
  6. After the music has stopped the round is now over. Head over to the scoreboard and wait for the lantern to turn off. Once the reset light turns off your final score is displayed.
