This center is not just a building; it’s a treasure trove for newcomers. Here, you’ll find essential items to kickstart your journey in Terra Nova – armor, tools, iron, food, a guide, and some construction blocks. Our community, known for its warmth and helpfulness, is always ready to assist new players in settling in. 🏔️Finding a Place for Your Base Utilizing the Live Map: When searching for the perfect spot to call home in Terra Nova, make sure to use the Live Map. This dynamic tool offers a real-time overview of the entire server, allowing you to scout for ideal locations from a bird’s-eye view. Check Areas for more info on the server claimed areas. General Seperation Guidelines: Please make sure your base is atleast 1k blocks from the Shopping District. Look out for other players bases, Try to keep a respectful distance unless you have gotten permission. (Remember you are not allowed to build underneath or over another base without permission!) Transportation Nether Roof Access: Right behind the spawn area, you have access to the nether roof, a key transportation method in Terra Nova, as we don’t use teleportation commands. Where Can I Build? Free Choice with Respect: You can build almost anywhere, except in areas marked under Areas. Respect these spaces and feel free to choose your spot elsewhere. Building Style Creative Freedom with Some Exceptions: While Terra Nova doesn’t enforce any specific building style, certain areas like the Shopping District require adherence to a Medieval style. Remember, Terra Nova encourages creative expression in your builds. Claiming Your Space Community Coordination: Since there’s no block protection, to avoid overlaps in building plans, use the #coordinates channel on Discord to share a map and coordinates of your intended area. Claim natural structures like temples and villages, unless already claimed. ⛏️Mining and Gathering Mining Freedom with Responsibility: Feel free to mine anywhere except under player bases or server-claimed areas. Do not use machine mining and prohibited mods like X-ray. Gathering Sustainable Practices: When gathering, fully cut down trees and feel free to loot unclaimed natural structures. For sand, use the designated gathering area to preserve the beauty of our deserts (Areas). 💸Economy Currency and Trade Diamonds as Currency: In Terra Nova, diamonds are the standard currency. You can set up a shop in the Shopping District (following specific rules) and trade items for diamonds. Remember, only one shop per player without staff permission. Gems and Mini-Blocks Special Collectibles: Discover “Gems” throughout Terra Nova.
