Resource Pack & Client Mods

Accepting the server resource pack, which client mods are allowed or forbidden, and the official Terra Nova mod pack.

NexoReviewed 3 October 2026

The server resource pack

Terra Nova uses a server resource pack (powered by Nexo) for its custom items, blocks and decorations. Minecraft offers it when you connect. Accept it, or custom items will look like plain vanilla items.

Declined it by accident?

  1. Open Multiplayer and select Terra Nova.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Set Server Resource Packs to Enabled (or Prompt) and click Done.
  4. Reconnect.

You can still use your own resource packs on top of the server pack, as long as they follow the rules below.

Client mods

Client-side mods and packs are welcome when they give no unfair advantage. If you are unsure about a mod, ask staff before using it.

Allowed Forbidden
Minimaps FreeCam, X-ray, ESP
Litematica KillAura and other combat automation
Replay Mod AutoTotem, Auto MLG and similar
Performance mods (Sodium, Iris and similar) Relog / reconnect automation
Cat Eyes, full-bright and X-ray texture packs
Fly, Jesus (water-walking) and movement cheats
Fair play is checked. Unusual ore discoveries are reported to staff, and suspicious activity is investigated. Using forbidden mods can lead to a permanent ban.

The Terra Nova mod pack

Want a ready-made setup? The official Terra Nova Mod Pack is a lightweight Fabric pack with Sodium, Iris, Xaero’s Minimap and World Map, Litematica and LambDynamicLights. It is built to respect the rules above.
